A Dakar, la capitale del Senegal, si tiene in questi giorni l’edizione 2014 dell’International African Music Salon. Tre giorni di festival che hanno portato sul palco artisti di tutte le estrazioni. Concerti, mostre, workshop, dibattiti, l’evento mette in contatto gli artisti con produttori, promotori, manager.
“In termini concreti – spiega Cécile Rata, tra gli organizzatori del festival – questo festival ha lo scopo di rafforzare il mercato e migliorarne le strutture. Permette agli artisti di muoversi un po’ incontrando produttori del Sudafrica, del Centro Africa, di Marocco, Brasile, Europa, dove professionisti del settore possono vederli e scoprire i loro talenti”.
The first forum of its kind, the SIMA, the International Exhibition of African Music, aims to respond to the needs identified by professionals of African music, that is to strengthen the African music market, promote and export the artists within Africa and outside of Africa. This second edition, scheduled for 20th – 22th November 2014 in Dakar, Senegal, consists of a market, concerts, business meetings, workshops, awards and will bring together for three (3) days a hundred professionals and around twenty artists.
