La Sultana’s Terroir Cuisine philosophy is the belief that the flavours and ingredients are directly attributed to the climate, geography and farming practices native to Morocco, to express a sense of place. Honouring this philosophy, local and seasonal ingredients are sourced from a small network of Slow Food producers, including saffron from Taliouine, salt from Zerradoun, cumin from Alnif and Argan oil from Tensift-El Haouz, whilst fish and meat options are also carefully sourced from localethical producers.

Highlights of La Sultana Marrakech’s culinary experience include botanical delights from La Sultana’s very own organic gardens in Marrakech and sister property in Oualidia, as well as fresh breads and pastries baked on property daily. La Table du Souk Located on the landscaped Bahia terrace rooftop, La Table du Souk offers views as far as the eye can see of Marrakech’s historical monuments, the Moulay El Yazid Mosque and the snow-capped Atlas Mountains. With traditional design aesthetics including Zellige tilework on the tables and soft green banquettes, La Table du Souk is an oasis of calm in the heart of Marrakech, a secret place for Medina lovers to enjoy a delicious lunch of simplicity and freshness served in an elegant and relaxed atmosphere.

Guests can choose from two menus

Highlights include; Red beetroot cooked in a salt crust served with beetroot and orange soup flavoured with anise and cinnamon; and Beef rib steak with homemade potato puree with Argan oil.

The Street Food menu recalls Moroccan rituals and cultural traditions, offering many light options perfect for al-fresco dining including seasonal Moroccan salads, tagine and grilled fish and meats. Highlights include; cooked crust snails in broth Babouche mode; and Speciality of the neighbourhood charcoal grilled fish or meat. La Table de La Sultana Served either in the cosy surrounds of La Sultana’s patio garden in the winter or on the rooftop overlooking the vibrant city and snowcapped Atlas Mountains in the summer.

La Table de La Sultana’s seasonal dinner menu celebrates two culinary journeys – French Inspirations and fine Moroccan Cuisine. Menu highlights include; The Vegetable Garden on chickpeas in hummus and pumpkin seeds; and Filet of Turbot in Meuniere Sauce, with capers from Safi, green asparagus and celery. An extensive selection of French and Moroccan wines allows guests to perfectly pair their wine with their food.
